فلنحن هاماتنا اجلالاً لرائدات العمل النسوى ببلادنا فلنجعل من هذا اليوم يوماً للتضامن مع نساء السودان عامة ومع نهلة بشير آدم خاصة التحية للمرأة السودانية فى هذه المناسبة الاحتفائية، وان كنا نؤمن بان ليس لدينا بعد ما يدعونا للاحتفال وزميلتنا نهلة بشير آدم تقبع بالسجن منذ منتصف ديسمبر 2008 دون ان توجه ضدها تهم واضحة ودون محاكمة مما يشكل مخالفة واضحة للدستور الانتقالى وانتهاك واضح لحقها فى الحرية وعليه ندعو جماهير شعبنا للتضامن من اجل اطلاق سراحها او تقديمها لمحاكمة عادلة فى اسرع وقت ممكن . إننا في الحزب الديمقراطى اللبرالى الموحد نرى ان اطلاق سراح الزميلة وجميع المعتقلين يمثل الخطوة الاولى والمدخل العملى والموضوعى للتعامل مع الازمات التى تحاصر البلاد |

فلنجعل من العام 2009 عام لوحدة القوى الوطنية الديمقراطية من اجل انتفاضة انتخابية تصرع الشمولية وترسخ الديمقراطية والسلام والوحده جماهير الشعب السودانى الابى تمر علينا الذكرى الثالثة والخمسون للاستقلال وقضايا ما بعده ماتزال ماثلة وشعاراته وغاياته لم تراوح مكانها وشعبنا ما يزال يحلم بالديمقراطية والسلام والوحدة . |

It reached us from our sources that Mr. Omer Alamin Mansour , a lawyer from Hajar Al Asal area in River Nile Province, resident of Kabkabiya in Darfur, has been assassinated as a potential witness before the International Criminal Court against the accused Omer Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir.
